Core, Body Sculpting & Toning Class
Activate Your life in 45 minutes. This class would suit those that want to change their body shape and improve their fitness.
A combination of cardio and strength training. This class allows participants to work at their own personal level. Incorporating all elements of fitness, build your strength and improve your balance and flexibility. All in a supportive group environment.

AAFA Certified Aerobic instructor for 16 years.
NASM Certified Personal Trainer for 1 ½ years.
Murray State University Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation and Leisure Services. Loves working and motivating people in Health and Fitness.
Instructor Dawn Smith:
My name is Dawn Smith. My family and I live in Herrin. We relocated to the area 9 years ago. Raised in Southern Illinois, I am originally from Coulterville while my husband is from Du Quoin.
I have been practicing martial arts for 13 years, Tae Kwon Do to be specific. I currently teach an all women's self-defense, fitness and Tae Kwon Do class through our school, Battleground Martial Arts Academy in Herrin.
I have a real passion for instructing women how to defend themselves and empowering them with the confidence to do so. Basic martial arts skills allow for confidence building, flexibility, mental clarity and overall health and well-being.
